Software and Types of software

* Software:- A set of program which is used to enable to run hardware. Without software hardware can not run.
There are two types of software:-
  i) System Software
 ii) Application Software

 i) System Software:- It is type of computer program which is designed to run computer's hardware and applications.
 Ex. :- DOS, UNIX, WINDOWS etc.

 ii) Application Software:-It is a program and group of programs designed for end user.
Ex. :- A web browser, media player, a file viewer etc.
