DIVISIBILITY RULES
*DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 2:- A number is divisible by 2, if the unit place of the digit is
0,2,4,6 or 8.
For example :- 2,4,6,8,16,122,144 and 1024 are divisible by 2.
3,5,7,153 and 1257 are not divisible by 2.
*DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 3:- A number is divisible by 3, if the sum of its digit is divisible by 3.
For example :- 1431=1+4+3+1=9 . Here 9 is divisible by 3. Then, 1431 divisible by 3
2523=2+5+2+3=12. Here 12 is divisible by 3. Then, 2523 divisible by 3
*DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 4:- A number is divisible by 4 ,if the last two digit is divisible by 4 or the last two digit is 00.
For example :- 3656 -its last two digit is divisible by 4.So, it is divisible by 4.
4500- its last two digit is 00. So,it is divisible by 4.
*DIVISIBILITY RUE OF 5:- A number is divisible by 5,if its unit plate is either 0 or 5.
For example :- 15,25,250,255,1520 and 25690 are divisible by 5.
*DIVISIBILITY RUE OF 6:- A number is divisible by 6,if it is divisible by both 2
*DIVISIBILITY RUE OF 8:- A number is divisible by 8, if the last three digit is divisible by 8 or last three digit is 000.
For example :-2304-its last three digit is divisible by 8.So, it is divisible by 8.
5627000-its laast three digit is 000.So, it is divisible by 8.
